Natural Vanilla Store was established as a specialist vanilla bulk supply business after our founders spent several years living in Jakarta as expatriates between 2003 to 2009. While in Jakarta, they were heavily involved in agricultural trade and regularly attended agricultural auctions in the heart of Java, Sumatra and Sulawesi. Indonesia is the second-largest producer of vanilla in the world, and during attendance, at the agricultural auctions, they were introduced to several of the main vanilla cultivators in the region.

After undertaking extensive travel across the archipelago to investigate these vanilla plantations, several were successfully located where the vanilla is very high quality, free of pesticides and grown organically without artificial fertilisers. Agreements were negotiated with these plantations confirming a guaranteed continuous supply of some of the highest quality vanilla being produced.

In the later part of 2009, the founders returned home to establish a specialised vanilla distribution office and warehouse facility. Natural Vanilla Store has successfully continued to grow each year by providing our customers with high quality vanilla products at competitive prices combined with a professional level of service. In 2017, after establishing ourselves as a major vanilla bulk supply business in Australia, we expanded our business internationally to Asia, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States.
